Tate Liverpool Mural

In August 2023 I was commissioned to create a large scale doodle map of Liverpool at Tate Liverpool in their public exhibition area.

In the weeks prior to me coming, members of the public had anonymously been putting their suggestions for the map in a suggestion box at the gallery. 

Liverpool is an amazing city to draw as there are loads of amazing landmarks and the variety of them is breathtaking. From the Albert Dock's to St George's Hall to both cathedrals the amount of innovative architecture makes it such an amazing place to draw.

This piece took me four full days to complete and and I really enjoyed the sense of ownership that the people of Liverpool had over the piece with their suggestions being on the mural!
